I have never seen such an interesting group of 1500m runners in the U.S. at one time.
You have Webb who everyone wants to watch and Krummenacker who has one the best American 1500 times ever to go along with 1:43 speed. Stember, Jason Lunn, Lassiter (reigning U.S. champ), maybe Jennings, Berryhill, Aden. The U.S. usually only has 3 or 4 guys running 3:37 or better but all of these guys could do 3:35 or better this year. Plus I am sure I forgot to mention a name or two (I noticed Pyrah is still competing). In ?96 Holmon almost made it to the Olympics after finishing in 13th place
Imagine this: you may even have the top three finishers at next years 1500m Trials automatically going to the Olympics without having to chase after a qualifier!
