Ouch. Didn't Jock allegedly storm out of World relays camp because he was an alternate? Looks like that was the right call, Jock ran a great Olympic trials but otherwise has nothing of note since college. Rimmer was a 1:43 man...
I decided to spend the money on a gold subscription. I do think NBC was somewhat unclear about what would be available only on Gold and what would be available on NBCSN. I also expected more coverage beyond what was on the NBCSN broadcasts for the Drake & Penn Relays.
On the plus side, I've liked the DL coverage. I'm hoping that Worlds will be good--they're basically passing along the world feed for the DL, so I'm hoping they'll do the same and give us coverage of everything from Worlds.
I guess it just seemed like a bargain compared to $20 a month for some crappy college meets on Flotrack (which I'm certainly not going to pay for). Seems like a worthwhile way to support the sport. I think it's a pretty good deal if you don't have access to NBCSN. If you do, it's a tougher call.
Yeah Jock has been way off for the most part, pulled that 'Manzano' magic act in Eugene but o.w. nope. Too bad, was really exciting to watch him run in his too short prime.

How? Injury?
She was in the back then stepped off after about 300m IIRC. Don't know what happened.
Anyone 's stream choppy as hell? I feel like I'm paying for a radio broadcast.
I had some bad moments during the 800, but been good since then. I like how they are showing split times for the individual runners during the longer races, instead of just the leader. That is a good addition and gives you a better indication of who is moving where (although only top 3 so far).
You can get live splits on the timing website. Splits are actually way ahead of the broadcast.
