"Puts the 'roid' in Android"
I thought the whole ad was pretty funny.
What has Lance Armstrong been hawking lately?
HAHAHA! Good fun. He deserves some bucks. After all the other big cheat, Carl Lewis, has raked in tons of $$$ after his doped up career ended.

Lewis was much less doped than Johnson. In fact, what Lewis did isn't even in the same category as what Johnson did.
That said, the commercial is funny, ASADA needs to get a sense of humor b/c half the sports world doesn't care about the rules and the other half doesn't care about doping that happened 30 years ago, and finally, yes, Johnson might as well cash in.
What about Justin Gatlin and Tyson Gay?

I hope and I think no one takes this as doping endorsement. It's full of self-derision. And it's funny.
Not the first ad he's done along these lines:

Certainly not. Ben ran 9.79 raising his arms, in Seoul. Probably equivalent to 9.72 in Tokyo 1991 WC's super fast surface. After all, Ben demolished Carl in 87' and 88'.

This was pretty funny. It's clearly a satirical ad.
That was funny. I laughed.
It's full of self-derision.
I would not say that. I think it makes a mockery of the anti-doping idiocy in a good way.
If Gatlin did that I would actually respect him a little.
funny as hell. Anyone who has their panties in a twist over it needs to lighten up.
I laughed.
OK I know everyone is talking about something else, but damn he's still got great form when you see him running at the end of the commercial holding one hand totally still and moving the other one smoothly. Dude was a natural that became supernatural. Whatever.

It is.
At least Ben is honest about it.
The ad has been BANNED!
http://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1051246/controversial-advert-featuring-drugs-cheat-johnson-banned-for-making-light-of-dopingA controversial advert for a sports betting company featuring disgraced sprinter Ben Johnson, which made light of the Jamaican-born Canadian's drug use, has been banned in Australia.
The Advertising Standards Board has taken the advert for Sportsbet off the air after finding it breached their rules.
They deemed it was unethical following an investigation and conveyed "performance-enhancing drug use in sport in a manner that is contrary to prevailing community standards on health and safety".
