I haven't raced in several years, in fact I gave up running completely for 1 year. I am trying to get back in shape and am running a 3000 this weekend. I am hoping to around 9:20 or 5:00 pace. Today I did 6X800 with 1:30 rest in 2:24, 2:29, 2:33, 2:32, 2:35, 2:33. It was very cold so I might be able to go a little faster. Do you guys think it will be possible to run 5:00 pace after this workout??
