well, 24 hours after the initial launch we've had a tremendous response to our call for lodging help. with your help it can only get better. we've had notes telling us that we're gonna die, that we're nuts, that we're inspiring, had an incredible letter from Joe McKnight a former dartmouth runner. to any and all of you who have written us, we will respond enventually. the last week logistics of organizing our departure, quitting job, pleasing girlfirend, etc, are crushing us right now. i actually said to my roommate last night "i can't wait until ALL i have to do is run 20 miles per day with 12lbs on my back." so PLEASE, keep circulating this to everyone you know. i think in the end it could really demonstrate something amazing. OH, we also secured a documentary to be filmed about our mission. 2 producers....one from a major network and one from major cable station are funding us to carry a digital camcorder to document the adventure, and will be sending out professional crews to film us at several points. "filming" begins at bronfenbrenner's this saturday night at our send off party. you're all invited. e-mail me for directions......scott sehon
