To my eye, McCaffrey doesn't look especially fast and that was born out by his 40 time. I don't think he's slow for an NFL HB, just not all that fast. What does stand out is that the kid has amazing feet. He can change direction with balance and agility. He can run patiently and make late cuts. He's also versatile, can catch, run routes, return kicks. He should do well playing in a scheme as multiple as the one Cam runs.
