Look at Desi's IAAF profile. She has a long professional career of steady, consistent improvement. She was like 40 something at NCAA XC and destined to be another nobody. The Hansons have nurtered her into being a consistent threat at the marathon. She's also one of the few athletes willing to talk candidly and admit what she's really thinking (about dopers, how bad she wants to win, etc.). Honestly, what are her flaws? Like real, legitimate flaws and not some nonsense about her form not being perfect. You guys probably had an aneurysm when Paula head-banged her way to a 2:15.
