Just kidding. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't left out. This board is ridiculous. I predict that Shadrack breaks 2:10 within a year. The Hanson bros seem to have a pretty good approach to maximizing marathon talent. Shadrack appears to be a huge talent. And Desi is my favorite runner (I have a poster of her in my office)

It remains to be seen if Biwott moves to MI to train. If not (see Brendan Gregg), the Hansons are simply middlemen between Brooks and the athletes, nothing more.

The Hansons were great in Slap Shot.

you do know that the Hansons bros have basically nothing to do with Des right? They rarely see her or have any contact with her. She does her own thing and they claim all her success.

That's total bs and what gives you the right to say that?Who says they are bad coaches and why? Linden has had a way better marathoning career than Goucher, yet Keith and Kevin don't know anything? That's ridiculous and absurd. What is wrong with you people and why are you hating on Linden? She ran a great race at the trials and came in just behind Cragg. What's the deal with people ripping on the Hanson's?

ITS ABOUT SHADRACK BIWOTT FINDING A SPONSOR. Nothing else. Why can't we just be happy that a hardworking guy that deserved a sponsor has found one? Why bash the sponsor that stepped up when no one else had? Why bash the most prominent athlete that has run for the sponsor for over a decade?

DUH!!! This thread reminded you of that? Over half the threads on the home page are like this. The brothers like hits, that creates more advertising revenue which means more money, get it? If they really cared, it wouldn't be like this.

I absolutely have the right. My post was completely accurate. Trust me.

Current and past HBODP athletes say this. And because the Hanson Bros care about their image and their ego way more than the athletes and their success. (Just take a look at the athlete turnover in that group)

No arguing that Linden is a good and strong marathoner. She does not have the edge she needs to consistently win though.

Goucher has never finished better than 3rd in any marathon and has never been close to winning.

Regardless of the wind or her time, Linden was only 2 seconds behind first place and was actually in first with less than 200 to go.

Hastings has won one marathon, Flanagan has won one marathon and Goucher has never won a marathon.

So then, with your highly intellectual logic, Flanagan, Goucher and Hastings are good strong marathoners that don't have the edge to "consistently win"...correct?

Or were you just posting while you were sitting on the can taking a sh*t while reading Runner's World?
