I have no desire to hire any of you complaining about student loan debt. It tells a lot about a person who does not want to meet his contractual obligations and for individuals who think they can borrow themselves into a better life.

I guess out little friend has disappeared. He must be busy keeping all those students from transferring out of his school.

Here's a simple solution for you... I know it's going to be mind blowing, but here it is.
Go to your state school! It's as simple as that. If you weren't smart enough or did enough activities to stand out to get scholarships, just go to your state school where your schooling will be fraction of the cost. If that's too expensive, you can go to community college for two years, then transfer to a state school for your 4 year degree.
It's ridiculous to hear about these student loans horror stories where they owe couple hundred grand. You are the idiot for taking on that much debt where you could've just gone to your state school to get the education.
You're an imbecile.
"If you weren't smart enough or did enough activities to stand out to get scholarships, just go to your state school where your schooling will be fraction of the cost. "
The top universities in the United States don't give scholarships - if they do, it's limited to maybe a dozen or so people and rarely based entirely on academics.
However, the top universities in the country do give tremendous amounts of financial aid. If your parents make less than $200,000 there is no way you will be paying full tuition at a top 10 school. If your parents make less than $75,000 there is a good chance your tuition will be free by financial aid.
It's a terrible crime that the liberals in this country perpetuate, the lie that "most kids are too poor to attend Harvard". If the kid from a food stamp family is qualified and gets accepted, it'll be free tuition by financial aid. Instead, the liberals try to push their agenda of perpetual "inequality", and in the process make millions of kids and their parents think that a good college - or college at all - is impossible for them because of the expense. It's not. Check the facts.
If you are over-educated and under-employed blame those responsible (you and your parents) not the system that allowed you to make those choices. You can also blame Bill Clinton - he put the system into motion.
That is dog whistle for “ I am too good toâ€:
1. Live at home
2. Commute
3. Drive a crappy car
4. Have a second job
5. Go to school part time
6. Pay for my own school
7. Not have a new iPhone
8. Not go to the salon
9. Have a job that pays actual money
10. Stop competing with my rich friends
11. Not pretend my family can afford $50G a year for a sociology degree
12. Admit that I’m not even that smart. If I were, I’d have gotten a scholarship!
13. Pay my own rent while going to school part time
14. Graduate at 26
15. Live according to my actual means
16. Not get everything I want all the time
17. Go to a school that is affordable
I graduated in 08’ with 30 G in debt. My state school is now 10G a year. Living in the dorms is like flushing money down a toilet. I commuted despite snobs thinking I was gauche for doing so. Haha you have 100G worth of debt for a sociology degree! I paid it off in less than 5 years because I worked two jobs, took a non glamorous job in the trades, drive a 94 Jetta, and don’t waste money pretending I am upper middle class. These people are HIGH MAINTENANCE! If you’re too good to go to a school you can’t afford you deserve the debt! You’ll be financing that fantasy you’re whole life. I’m supposed to feel bad for the people that looked down on my state school? I should play my little violin for kids who get whatever they want even when it is way out of everyone’s league financially? We need to end the stigma on commuting and part time college. It’s making us all poor.
You telling me I shouldn't go on Spring Break every year?
Or if you don't want student loans do what I did. Take $500 and start a company upon graduating hs. Start college that fall. Run your growing company and go to school for the next four years. Graduate college debt free after not only paying for your tuition, but also your wifes and starting a growing company. Graduate with a 4 year old company that you are CEO of and begin your adult life as a well established business owner.
I don't know why everyone smart enough to go to college didn't/doesn't do this!!!!
To be honest, I've read many times that people have serious difficulties paying off student loans. It's like a debt pit, because after graduation, a person can not quickly find a high-paying job. So I prefer to take only personal loans and advise everyone to read a useful blog https://workable.com/nr?l=https://cashcat.ph/blog/
Great idea, fun way you offer!
It's not even suck it up and work harder. Just do simple math. I hate to bang on on teachers, but they're the worst. I know at least a half dozen in my circle of friends who have knowingly spent $150,000+ on a career that pay $35,000. That ROI is awful. I also know a lot of contractors who are fighting each other to pay $80,000+ for an average plumber or electrician who has no debt.
