If Keitany breaks the WR, best believe Bekele will probably be challenging as well.
This has the potential to be a GOAT race.

It's a bit crap, but I'm listen via London radio app v iPhone...
Bekele off, has a LOT of pacers!
GOAT race or some extremely painful last 10ks.
Awesome, you won't be missed.

So Mary K now has the 5k and 10k record, right?
If this holds up, I'm going to have to walk away from the sport for awhile. Because we all know Paula was juiced to the gills.
They're slowing down a bit.

Lol
Just like Mary, KB has gone right to the lead, the 2 'alpha dogs', right Toni?
5K splits for Keitany so far
15:31-15:46-15:58
She's 47:15 at 5K, 28 secs up on the field

Im sure I'm missing something, but I don't why such a big deal was made about the "Virtual Pacemaker" when they were just going to throw, like, five zebras in there next to Bekele,
50.46 10M
50:46 through 10 miles. Slowing a bit but this is still ridiculous.
I will say this: conditions look really good for running fast. 50 degrees Fahrenheit, not much wind, overcast. That's near-perfect.
5:04 pace at 10 miles!

Either way, it's going to be glorious. it's good to see people leave it all out from the get go, and not wait for others or come down to tactics.
5:14 mile, the slowest since the first mile which was 5:17.
At this rate, I predict Mare Dibaba to outkick all of them in the last two miles.

Truly incredible.
High socks pacer is gonna WIN
High socks is a power boost
Tirunesh Dibaba, leading the chase pack, is on 2:14 pace.
