They don't even know Pre? What a bunch of dummies...

I guess he's 24. I thought he was 21.
It doesn't matter what your name is ...said THE ROCK!
Cael Sanderson was undefeated his entire college wrestling career. Won 4 NCs in a row. Look it up. In his first international meet after college, he lost to a Cuban Olympian. After the match, the Cuban said he had no idea who Cael Sanderson and had never heard of him.

I truly believe Jager is probably one of the only white guys they know/respect. He's the only one able to put up a fight in his event. The rest, not so much.
Quotes like this are silly. Rupp is an Olympic medalist on the track and in the marathon. If professional runner doesn't know who he is and respect him as a legit competitor, he or she is ignorant. And I'm far from a Rupp or Saladbar fanboy.

Doubt it.
Rudisha knows who Murphy is--he was celebrating with him after Murphy beat the other Kenyans.
I'd think the Kenyans would know who Centro is after winning four World and Olympic medals, including two gold.

That says a lot about Kenyans, and its not positive. You're portraying them as either arrogant or with lack of knowlegde, or both. Also, Centro doesn't register?
Ha ha ha

well, it cud be that he doesnt know who "crazy" rupp (in swedish "galen" means crazy!) is but cud also be a result of not understandin the question.
maybe he thought he was asked if he knows galen rupp or is friends with him, not if he knows who he is!
off topic: galen rupp is completely unknown in sweden. mabe 1 out of 1000 knows who he is.
i asked a friend of mine if he knew who mo farah was. he just laughed at me. and shock his head.

I think I'd throw in Emma Coburn to to a little extent. She is good!

It was the lady. I think she just misspoke.
A jr in Kenya.
There may be 30 to 40 Kenyans and 30 to 40 Ethiopian who are faster than Rupp in the marathon.

The USA steeplers are repping hard in Kenya apparently.
I bet that makes your jealous little heart feel better about your own failings. Huh Robert?
Bizarre you think this is relevant. Why would a Cuban Olympian know anything about an American college kid?

I'm sure that if they don't know who Murphy is, they will. and I'm sure plenty of Kenyans have heard about Centrowitz, they were allegedly all ticked off that Kiprop disappointed them (funny when you think about it, it's like a reverse situation of 1968 Olympic 1500m... Ryun "let down" his country and Keino proved a magnificent star to the Kenyans... tables turned now as Centro takes the glory and Kiprop takes the fall, but at least Ryun got silver)
I'm sure they know Jager though. Almost taking Olympic gold and defeating Kemboi in the process, and running what was reportedly 7:56 pace before his fall in Paris

That's really rude. Winning in a race didn't grant him the right to disrespect his competitor.
Neither did doping but you are silent about that
