Is he back training with Chelimo and old coach. He stagnated after going out on his own.
He's run low 13 on the track correct? 13:19 on a fast road course isn't surprising.
Like said earlier, it was Sam Chelenga, and I believe Chelenga left in 2015 to train with Lagat and Lalanag down in Arizona, then went to the American Distance Project in Colorado this past fall.
True used to train with Coogan up until the end of 2013 and he certainly hadn't stagnated. He ran that 13:02 and went on to place decently high in the DL 5k's all training by himself. Then he got 2nd at USA's in the 10k and 5k, ran 13:06, and placed 6th at World's in 2015. I think he's still coaching himself, but not exactly sure.
I think a good fit for him would be Ray Treacy at Providence or Wetmore at CU (who now coaches Riley Masters). They both seem like coaches who have strength oriented programs that lightly touch of speed endurance which is something that fits Ben True's style.

Yes, but not what I meant to type so I corrected it.
Don't wast time and space like that.

As for the African's they might as well all have the same name. I follow the top track runners but as far as marathon and roads they are interchangeable to me. Cogs in the wheel.
No apostrophe in Africans.
Also, you sound like an imbecile.
He certainly didn't stagnate.
We know one thing for sure, he won't run for Saladbar.
you're not my boy, bleu
congrats and well done to True, but he seems to be peaking way to early here
...and one more piece of evidence that True is a much better road and XC racer than track guy.
When Ben True was sleeping, I was watching tv and Molly Huddle was eating sugar cubes and carrots.

How is 13:20 better than 13:02? Your posts rarely make sense, but maybe you have an explanation this time.
please! Stop with the clickbait its not like you get paid more if we click this particular thread. that said im probably one of the only people who feels this way so i guess its whatever. You should put road in the title it gives us more information about whether or not we should use our valuable time clicking it.
that said way to go ben!
Was this a part of that whole Boston Marathon thing everyone's always on about

One is an AR and the other isn't
