I was just about too myself
4:00.16 to be exact, he's been on another level this year. Best highschool runner to never win footlocker or nxn?
Wow - so close and over 10 seconds up on 2nd.
Finals
1 Cooper Teare St. Joseph ND 4:00.16 10
3:58.751 (3:58.751)
2 Callum Bolger San Luis Obispo 4:10.46 8
Why does Flotrack have a lock on all the video feeds from these big meets? Their coverage is not very good and they charge too much for the service.
And does anyone have a link to results for the Brian Clay Invite?
They've been doing this certain meet for yearssss, basically the only people who do highschool somewhat unfortunately

change ftp to apu_ftp
LRC, bitly url, and tiny url cannot manage the apu_ftp part of the link. The ling gets broken. Click on the link above then add "apu_" in from of ftp.

cooper is faster then rupp at 1 mile and faster than webb at 2 miles.
Meant to put one of the best*

Webb ran the 2 mile once his senior year. He ran 8:45. For a FULL TWO MILES. Indoors.
I'll be generous to you and call that a wash.
Wake me up when Teare runs 4:00/8:34 at the state meet.

I don't even know why I am engaging this, but I will.
Webb ran roughly the same 2 mile time (when factoring in the 3200 conversion) as teare, but teare ran that in a race with lots of competition outdoors in California while webb ran a flat 200m track indoors. Lets just say the situations were a bit different. Teare is also just under 7 seconds slower behind webb at the mile (not to mention an inferior national xc performance).
Rupp is indeed a second behind teare at the mile, but that is at best his 3rd event. Teare is over 30 seconds behind rupp at 5k.
You kids need to learn a little history before you come on here running your mouths. Get off my damn lawn.

Did either Rupp or Webb manage that?

And you, old man, need to learn the difference between early season times and PRs set later during the season by Rupp and Webb.
by this time of the year webb had already run 359y and 845y (both indoors). have a different argument you want to try and use?
You guys need to shut up. Just stop.

You got owned. 841m is better than 845y. And where is your Rupp?
Teare has a better range than Webb in his times, I wasn't saying he was better anyway, I had meant to put "one of the best?"

He's way faster that Jordan Geist in the steeplechase too.
And actually Cooper is not currently faster than Rupp.
