Weather.comm has the high at 60, and it has hanged about a dozen times since the first long range forecast. Lots of time for things to shift around still.
Nothing you can do anyway so no need to stress out about it. Another reason why marathons charging insane sums of money to likely run in horrible weather is ridiculous. Pretty much a scam if you ask me.

Sounds like you've never ran a hot race successfully. Lots of things you can do. Change race plan, wardrobe adjustments, have Alberto hand you a new hat at every aid station, etc.

Keep telling yourself that. The forecast isn't going to change much. Better start heat prepping
18 mph WEST wind. Sounds like good weather. Could be another 2011
Northwest. NOT west. Or from south west. Look at the course

Keep your hat. Just put some ice in at every aid station and you'll stay cool.

Is there a service you can hire that will have an ice hat waiting for you?

Alberto will smear some gel on you as well, if you ask nicely. I've had Coach Casonova do the same to me. His gel tastes yummy!

I actually don't know anyone who has run a hot marathon successfully???
Interesting point -- I see the course is probably best described as heading east-northeast.
So if the wind's blowing from the northwest, it's not a classic tailwind, but it shouldn't really work against you, I'd guess.
Also, last 6 miles are basically due east
Bro the projected start temps are 43-44 degrees, completely ideal.
Negative trollin' loser.

Perfect for wearing that Boston jacket you bought at the expo!!!
EVERYONE TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BOAT! Accuweather predicting tailwind, cool temps.
Everyone is overstating either how ideal or how bad it will be. Current forecasts are for decently fast conditions.
60 degrees at the start w/ low humidity.
Tail to crosswind.
A solid 20+ degrees cooler than my only other marathon (Lehigh Valley - aka, The One With The Train). So I'll take these temps and love them.

I think youre confusing the low temp of the day with the start temp. temps are projected to fall after the high on sunday through tuesday morning. Start temps will be more like sundays low and monday won't cool off until after the race (as of now).
OP is right. 59 degrees at the start with an 18 mph cross/tailwind? No thanks. I've been training for 18 months, but I'm going to sit this one out. Maybe next year. If next year it's 44 degrees and the tailwind is from the west-southwest instead of the west-northwest, then I'll run.
Thanks so much for alerting us runners to this travesty. Disaster averted.
