google the 23% surcharge and you'll find some cached google results, one of which is the "FAQ's" page of the race website, where they state that yes, they are charging men 23% more to reflect the "wage gap (myth)".

Googler of things, you come off like a sad and angry divorcee. I have a few hypotheses (non-comprehensive) that may explain your logic:
1. You were once (or currently are) married and relied on your wife's unpaid labor to rear your children, but you somehow think you're the only adult in the house who works;
2. You're feeling the squeeze of the global economy, namely, the outsourcing of male-dominated and well-paying blue collar jobs. You blame the consequences of neoliberalism and the gradual killing off of the American middle-class on women--who have done relatively well in terms of making up ground in the job market in recent decades--instead of wealthy corporations;
3. You're a garden variety misogynist who hasn't really given this much thought;
4. You've given this a little thought, but it never occurred to you to factor in how gender inequality shapes' families' decision-making, such that women are more likely to take time away from work for pregnancy and child-rearing (many men aren't allowed maternity leave; it's more stigmatized for men to stay home, etc.), which ultimately hurts women's career trajectories over time; you don't account for the overvaluation of male-dominated vs. female-dominated jobs that require similar skill levels; you happened to overlook the MANY sociological studies that have documented gender discrimination in the workplace...(actually, there's a shit-ton of research out there, which you can find in a library or via google scholar);
5. No amount of evidence or rationality will shake your deeply-held allegiance to the status quo.
