I'm glad he is not redshirting out door.

he won the race in like 3:46ish
looks like about a 57 last lap.
You know the two Cal guys were thinking on the last lap, "I'm going to beat Grant Fisher! I'm going to beat Grant Fisher! ...damn."
GF's arm carriage looks a little different. His hands are normally at his hips, though he would swing them quite a bit. Here, his arms seemed to be more tucked in, elbows more bent, with his hands more in front of him than previously.
Not sure if it's good or bad, but it's quite noticeable to me.

I doubt that Joyce (the big meet 1500m record holder) was thinking that.

Arm action and stride Looked good to me. Fairly slow pace with a last lap pick up. Fisher started to roll coming off the last corner and pulled away strong with 50 m to go for the win over some good guys.
Where I come from its arm swing and kickin,
Where I come from lot of Grant Fisher winnin,
Where I come from trying to make a livin,
Workin hard to get to NCAA's where I come from.

I think the arm carriage is a lot better now that he's at Stanford. I run in the conference that he was a part of in HS and his arm carriage always struck me as really really weird. I noticed that it was different in the video of the Stumptown 1500m that he ran with Centro and such.
More like Grant Fisher was thinking, "Thanks for the lead out Cal guy, I'll take it from here."He looked totally in control.i still think he's a 5k guy though....

You are what you train for. There's no such thing as being a xxx guy if that's what you meant.
