Shes an inspiration. Good for her. No problem for being yourself. You are in prison if you judge others
Guess you're in prison too pig face.
So courageous
The actual girls should walk off the track.

With that last line, are you not judging others? Not only that you are taking away one's freedom.
Oh, and judging others is part of what humans do for a variety of reasons.
As for the issue
1) Interesting that the reporter did not ask the girls she beat about how they felt.
2) The only solution I can think of is to have classifications based on testosterone levels. If you between A and B, you race Div 3; if between C and D, you race Div 2: greater than D and you are Div 1. Sort of like weight classes in combat sports.

This would actually be hilarious if this happened. It would really send a message that something needs to be done.
For instance, what if the other 5 women who aren't men in the women's 800 at the World Champs just walk off the track? Surely they would be berated and called hateful people, but the honest truth is men/boys shouldn't be racing with women/girls.
I think she's very, very brave for embarking on this transition. And I believe that she should be an inspiration to people who recognize that we really have to be true to ourselves to live our lives fully and meaningfully.
But all that being said, gosh I'm conflicted about her competing against other female athletes. I don't find that part of her story particularly inspiring since it seems that she has a fairly significant advantage over them, yes?
I always thought I would not live to see FloJo's 100 and 200 world records go down, nor Koch's 400 or Kratochvilova's 800.
They will all fall in the next 10 years by a man "identifying" as a woman.
Now I am wondering if I will see the first sub-4:00 mile by a woman and the first sub-10 100m.
This is a sad time for women's sports. Even Title IX can't do anything to stop its inevitable destruction.
The only thing that may stop this trend is the day a man kills a woman competitor in a mixed marital arts competition.
I have always identified as a 32 year old female with a 62% hematocrit. : ( why am i getting my medal taken away?

And I meant they should walk BEFORE the race starts. If trans people want to compete, a special league should be established. Someone born male shouldn't compete against females....period. No pun intended.
I think it would be more impressive if she competed against the boys and placed well rather than dominating the girls race. She will be at a disadvantage against the guys, but it would be so much more impressive for her to compete against them and still proudly identify as a girl.
It would be like Ayana running against the men in the NCAA champs 10k. She has a disadvantage against them with less testosterone etc. but her performance is still perceived as impressive nevertheless!

To live fully and meaningfully doesn't include doing so without considering what disadvantage/detriment to others you may cause by the things you do. Having a problem such as gender dysmorphia doesn't give you a free pass to ignore the shared responsibilities of living in a civil society. The principles of fairness apply to everyone. To not acknowledge the physical advantages of your sex, despite what or who you "feel" you are, is to ignore reality, and no society can function under those principles (or lack thereof).
What will happen when guys start saying the feel they are women and want a scholarship at a DI school in various sports T&F, basketball...is this the end to Title IX?!
Once again leftism leads to cynical actors taking advantage of the weaker. And leftists will defend it with all they have: name calling, slandering, and claims of victimhood.
I never get tired of seeing leftism fail.

Upon reading the article, it appears this boy has not undergone any medical treatments. He is simply a boy who has been placed on the girls team based upon his declaration that he is a girl. He is at no disadvantage competing against the boys -- he is a full fledged boy.
At 15 and a freshman, this boy is beating girls state records, even though he's running without blocks and without without competition. By the end of this season, he could easily own every girl's track and field record in the state. As a freshman, he's got 4 years to set male records in girls high school track.
It is completely unfair. Adults needs to stand up for the girls who are being cheated. But coaches hesitate, because they will be branded hateful bigots if they stand up for the girls, and may even lose their jobs.
It is 2017 and Orwell's 1984 has arrived. 2+2=5. Boys are girls. Men are women. Reality is what you say it is. Facts be damned.
Ya know who really, really hates it when gender-baffled men compete against women in women's sports???
Every female athlete who's ever been busted and banned for using steroids. ;-)
Males vs. Males
Females vs. Females
Transgenders vs. Transgenders
Not complicated
Parents -- of the actual girls who are being degraded and humiliated by having to pretend they are fine with boys being allowed in the girls' category -- also really, really hate it when boys are allowed to compete as girls. Especially when the boys dominate.
I mean really, just look at him. He is a full-fledged boy. He is on girls' team because he said "I am a girl" and no other reason.
