What in the world does he mean? He's obviously an insider as a former NOP and OTC guy, as well as Olympian. Very bizarre tweet:

Nice find. I often say tone is often lost on both twitter and email but also wonder what he is meaning.
Remember he's the guy who in 2012 called us the "The gutter press" when we pointed out that a man with a 10 year doping ban (Mark Block) was being wined and dined in the Nike VIP tent at the US Olympic Trials.

Ya never know with him
He works closely with Nike. Guessing he isn't a fan of calling out Nike execs and athletes.
"Don't give my company a bad image!"
Stop associating with a company that has sweatshops and promotes cheating in sport.
There is no doubt in my mind that a man with that many tattoos and accents in his name is on gear.
Back to instagram kicks pics with ya!
He should be called out for that tweet. It puts him very clearly on the wrong side of the conversation regarding the state of our sport. Perhaps he is being sarcastic or is just insensitive.
Everyone else see his tweet a couple down from that one?
"@Cathal_Dennehy I'd cut the ISC anti doping unit's budget in half. Put that money towards paid coaches in each event group."
This post was removed.
The guy is PO'd that his tendons couldn't hold up to his injection schedule.
O'Lionaird has a Nike gig for one reason.
Think about it. Why else would Nike keep a guy on the running payroll for years who had a few good races in 2011-2012, then nothing for 4 years. Then the minute he retires, he works for Nike.
Why?
Why could this be?

Doesn't mean you're still not the "gutter press."
sounds to me he is just a rebel and hates the corporate press - thinks that they are just out to sell ads.
That's a pretty common 'occupy wall street' type attitude - basically a nihilistic 'pox on all their houses' attitude.
lots of young white men in black hoodies feel that way
Nike the organization that allgedly paid $500,000 to keep LA from testing positive
Letsrun has facilitated the doping discussion and speculation for the good of the sport imo
Many of the so-called drug conspiracy theories posted on here now look to be true

With no inside info, one reason could be he developed a relationship with key Nike people. Maybe they liked him?

A rebel who works for Nike? This is 2017, not 1980

Sadly that's not the case.
Maybe he's annoyed that people are assuming/announcing her guilt prior to her B sample results? Until that comes out her A sample is just circumstantial and doesn't condemn her. I know we aren't talking about a "legal" issue, but don't we assume her innocence until her guilt is proven beyond a reasonable doubt?
Translation... "this will take the focus off of Alberto and the NOP for awhile".
