Almost took out a row of cyclists today changing lanes.
I know it's a feel good thing and I have many friends/proponents for cyclists on major roads but I'm sorry, they don't deserve to be on the streets.
They cannot accelerate at the speed of a motorized vehicle.
They have little to no visibility in traffic.
No required helmet laws force the auto drivers to insure cyclist.
They totally ignore the "complete stop rule" at stop signs and roll right thru.
Incapable of meeting the minimum requirement speed on roads outside city limits.
Cyclists are not required to carry any insurance.
In most cases, bike wheels cannot accept the holes and street imperfections on busy streets and roads.
You want to bike around your college campus or residential areas, fine but roads and highways will result in your consequence of choice.
