Chelimo just got back from Uganda so I'm sure he's not feeling great, although Steph Bruce was able to bounce back and run 31:59 at Stanford.
It would be cool to see Aisha make some improvements this year training under Bosshard with Emma. Maybe we can see a 9:20s steeple from her, or a low 15s 5000m?
What? Gasp! You mean there are better coaches than Rowland?
Why is the video all skinny? Is there a full screen one?
Why did the camera wander off so much? And sometimes show traffic lights above the runners' heads? Could the camera operator not see what the camera was actually filming?
It was a phone.

Must have been another training run.
These are not World Class events that they are losing
You don't think running against a 12:46 Olympic medalist makes it world class? Though its true, this year the field didnt have a great deal of depth.
Make Carlsbad Great Again.
Nobody is gonna talk about Will Leer? Happy to see him racing even if he was a bit back. Cool to see Andy Vernon run as well. That dude is jacked!
WHY IS MAC FLEET SO AWFUL?

I'll talk about Will Leer. Talking about him right now. I'm talking and I'm saying he's going to make a World's/Olympic team yet. Discus.
Didn't Jepkosgei go through 10k at a faster pace than that in Prague?
Looks like I picked the right race to watch this week.
yes she easyly ran faster
14:53 - 30:04 - 45:37 - 1:01:25-1:04:52
She was 40 sec faster at 5k
10k still 15:02 pace, so 31 sec
15k 15:12 pace, 21 sec
She actually ran the half marathon on a faster average pace then Viola Lagat ran for just 5k.
Let's talk about sexx wrote:

What makes you think that? Who is coaching him? Who is he training with? I feel like him just getting consistent training and racing again means he'll get down to 356, win a few smaller races, get 5th or 6th in some bigger races. I'm a big fan of how outspoken he was against Nike, and just his overall persona and aesthetic
Who's the a$$hole on the ElliptiCycle??
I think they've changed the course a few times over the years? Not sure if it's the same now as when the WR's were set.
They do change the course often but it covers more or less the same route. It's not pancake flat but the 'hills' are gradual... not a significant factor. Elevation change is negligible no matter how you run it. This years route had two 90* turns and two 180* turns. I think some versions (not sure which years) of the route have had an additional 180* turn which would have actually made those courses slower.
The times were probably impacted mostly by the warmer weather (cant say about years past but it was pretty warm at noon when the race started) and just going out at a slower pace. They were running for place, not time.
Bump
