Oh definitely not, I'm just saying Sam couldn't be closer. Hopefully we see some great races come June.

Damn, from 8th to 1st going away in the final lap. Looks strong as hell. More impressive than 3:57 tucked into 4th or something. When was the last time a prep beat a field like this?
Alar Webb
Yeah, he'll probably break it but then he'll get injured and we'll either never hear from him again or he'll never get the chance to fully develop...
Rosas, McGorty, Slagowski, Fisher, etc. etc...
If these people would lay off the heavy refined foods diets (e.g. refined sugar, HFCS, commercial milk, commercial meats, etc.) the joints, cartilage, and bone would hold up a lot better...
Worley has a Ryun-type body: straight shoulders and long legs. Hopefully has not run too fast too soon, but it's hard to see him not going under 4 easily this Spring.

Never hear about them again? I don't know which McGorty you're talking about, but at the very least, Slagowski has only been out of HS for what, 9 months ish? Less than a year. I wouldn't say he's exactly disappeared yet even if there hasn't been much from him. Fisher has definitely not gone anywhere. 13:30 as a college freshman(?) and 5th at NCAA XC as a sophomore.

Yes! As I watched him run the last 100m I thought Jim Ryun.
