Agreed. I doubt she is going to run anything faster than 2:30.

She'll run 2:23 or so.

One of the keys to a good taper is determining the sweet spot where you're not tired but still fresh with a lot of zing in your stride. She needs to cut back in the first couple of weeks of April but maybe a to 50-70 for both weeks, with a little speedwork the week before the marathon. Given the miles she's been putting in, a medium week of 70 likely would get her to the line fresh.
Do you think running 25 miles the week before a marathon will leave a runner's legs stale? Shows how little you know AND why you run so poorly
It certainly will, idiot. No top runner cut back to 25% of their normal mileage the last week.

Look for a 1:07 Half-Marathon tomorrow from Jordan Hasay.
She did it, but I think she shot her load for Boston.
Rupp ran his race as a prescribed pre-marathon effort and will perform well in two weeks.
Jordan Hasay ran a 1:07:55 PR.
Joyciline Jepkosgei (unknown Kenyan) ran a 1:04:52 and beat the American star by 3:03…which is only about 14 SECONDS PER MILE FOR THE ENTIRE 13.1 MILES.
If they ran the race on the track, Jordan Hasay would only get lapped 2 times by the unknown Kenyan.
Go Jordan!

True, even with the "legal" meds. All the NOP runners look like they have no subcutaneous fat. Somehow they are losing fat from below. Her Instagram photos show her mustache. I guess it's worth it to be #3 US.
Those L.A. born and raised runners like Hasay are all insane crazies!

The 'unknown Kenyan' was already in the top 10 all-time but maybe she's unknown because you just don't know stuff
Admit it. You didn't know who she was.
She took down Ms. Paula's 10K road World Record by 17 seconds in just the first 10K of a Half-Marathon race. And last year her PR was 1:09. Hilarious.
Her 1:01:25 at 20K is 30:42.50 for two 10Ks in a row.
The American women will need a relay team to race against her.
Great run by Jordan today...excited to see how she does in a couple weeks
Solid run, hopefully she recovers from the race and the travel well and has a great day in Boston (depending on weather).
I think she is capable of running in the 2:22-2:25 range and I would assume Salazar has schooled her well on not destroying the quads over the first 15 miles.
I would think she has to have done some specific downhill training for Boston to insure her quads will be fine after mile 15.
Of course she'll be recovered. Probably running a long run tomorrow with Galan before they leave.
not fair to compare Jordan to Jepkosgei. Let's wait 2 years and then look at the results again. betting Jep will be a DQ
regarding her running 100 mpw 3 weeks out, I don't see the big deal. most marathon tapers are 1-3 weeks, and she has ~16 days til the race.
I think the ideal taper is in the 7-10 day range, more than that and you can get lethargic flat feeling.
No matter what Jordan does at Boston, Kara Dingbat will say she cheated.

It must be embarrasing to reveal your ignorance like this in a public forum.
