Alice Aprot did not come here for experience. Starting to show hand early.
Two separate races...The African race and the All Others race.
Slow burn from Alice stringing them out already.
The runner with the cap looks extremely masculine.

Kenyan lionesses dropping them taking them down one by one. Down to eight.
Faith Kipyegon is doing well to hang on. Very impressive.
The bibs on their backs are comically large

She certainly doesn't.
Kind of crazy seeing Reguruk up there leading the race. She was outkicked by Mary Cain a few years ago at 3000m! She is still so young.
Irene Cheptai taking those logs like she's on a skateboard. Faith alone in fourth.
Hyvin Kiyeng overtakes Faith to go fourth.

No, I've just visited Kenya multiple times and know what women there look like.
They may not be uniformly matched to whatever ideas of femininity you hold from your basement in the midwest, but indeed they are women and by definition they look like women.
Can we expect Great Things from the American squad?
Irene Cheptai, Alice Aprot, Lilian Renguruk, Hyvin Kiyeng, Agnes Tirop and Faith Kipyegon sweep the top 6 in the senior women's. Utter domination. Ruth Jebet was the first non-Kenyan (HA!) in seventh.
Looks like 4th for u.s women! What a race from them!
