Still in the works. I was probably 1 day too late in getting to him though, as he has cut me off. I got some quotes from him, but he never answered my questions on data, never told me where he ran, etc. I'll be happy to report that in the piece, but I was hoping for just ONE shred that I could tear apart. Unfortunately, while I had intentions of helping him PROVE he was actually doing this, the investigation is proving otherwise.

Legged it from someone willing to help clear their name! Hmmm, sounds legit!! Not.
He has a running watch so why wouldnt he have used it for his 100 marathons, but zero data.
On Dec 8th 2016 - He posted his schedule and stuck to it. If you wanted to follow why did you wait so long. He was 100% transparent.

Glad you went into it unbiased.

Hi Kevin,
Because we only became aware of your scam, er excuse me, "feat" a few days ago. In which time we have pretty much shown it to be a completely unsupportable fabrication, by the way. Evidenced by how you are locking down your public social accounts.
Dean Karnazes - a well known runner with a plausible level of fitness and talent to pull this off - with set up a website to promote his 50 marathons in 50 days. People even remotely interested in running were quite well aware of his intentions to do that before he started.
You would think a social media expert like KP Kelly would have better promoted his upcoming rather astounding feat; you know, for the "children", since he was doing it for charity, you would think he would be going for maximum exposure.
I'de like to let each of you know an investigation has been launched into this matter. If it is determined funds meant for charity (Even one dollars) were pocketed, federal charges will be filed.

I don't think you should hold it against him that you did not know about his attempt. He told plenty of people prior as evidenced by the articles that came out prior to and during his feat. I think most people would go on lock-down if they were being so personally attached.

Unless you are with the CIA and willing to use Homeland Security, you won't be able to do better than us.
I just found the Strava and actual proof that the 100 marathon in 100 days man can back up what he says!!
Nope, not this fraud KP Kelly, but another runner who has currently done 76 marathons, posted them on Strava, and frequently runs with others.
proof has been found!!!!! wrote:

Nobody is "holding it againt" you, Kevin. Just seems strange is all. You are the one who asked why we didn't see his schedule posted in December 2016.
You were planning to pull off a significantly challenging running feat to help make money for charity, but didn't think to promote your feat among the running community? Kind of odd for a social media expert to have missed that one. I mean Karnazes only did 50/50 and he had sponsors out the wazoo, awesome exposure for his charities.
So, where did you post this schedule anyway?
And oh yeah - going on lock down because you're being "attacked" eh? Why not just post up the proof and get a hearty laugh in everyone's faces? You'd become an internet sensation by doing that as well.

Hi Ahna Hendrix!!!!! Birds if a feather flock together.
Kevin, pretty sad when a self proclaimed digital branding expert can't successfully get the message out about your fraudelant feat.
So very very sad.

The stupidest thing on Letsrun: the "Hi Kevin" thing (or "hi mike" or "hi Kip" or...).
But keep it up, one of these days it might actually be the person, and then you zinged them good, didn't you? Win for you!
And I'll save you the trouble: I am Kevin. You got me. I registered this name a couple years ago anticipating that I'll be roasted on letsrun and I can come on and pretend to be someone else, but you're too smart for me. Darn.
