Well yeah, the American team is all Kenyan born, so it wouldn't be a shock if they won.

Of course it will be a shock. Maybe not as much of a shock as when we got silver a couple years ago, but you'll certainly see some headlines.
How many teams is Kenya sending?

The top 4 on the American team are Kenyan born and raised and since they score top 4 at Worlds it shouldn't be much of a surprise if the American team won. It would be surprise if we could get 4 American raised, not necessarily born, runners to win Gold.

Roughly 3 or 4.
When the Dutch men start filing in to the US, quickly get their citizenship and start winning speed skating team medals for America we can celebrate for winter sports too!!
It all depends on how well our 4th and 5th man run. Those times/points will decide the gold, silver or bronze.

The team is not all Kenyan born, and it will still be a huge surprise if they win.
So he was wrong on two counts.

With Trump and his minions at the wheel, I don't see many athletes from countries > the US making the move anytime soon.
Jon Gault, curious how many officials are with the team on this trip? I mean officials who are along on the company dime.
Are they going to run on some golf course with a couple hills and hay bales as usual
or are they gonna run through actual country i.e. tall grass, mountains, rocks, wild animals and forests?
4 Kenyan Americans > American
Chris Derrick < American

Perhaps four.
1. USA
2. QATAR
3. Bahrain
4. Turkiye
Oh, five if you include Kenya.
I will not be excited if this team wins. Yawn.
This is one of our strongest teams and Korir has proved he can compete against the top guys. I would not be surprised if USA finished on the podium and if Korir finished on the podium as an individual. The most likely scenario is Korir finishing 4 or 5 and about the same for the team. Winning gold is highly unlikely, these are way to many things that would have to go their way for it to happen.
And I say I can marry Beyonce
What a joke. Our team is Kenyan. Nothing against those guys, but there is nothing to get excited about if they do win. They're supposed to win. They're Kenyan. If we had a team full of guys who were actually born here, different story.
