The slowest guy on my high school 4x8 ran a 12.4 hand timed from a standing start a couple weeks ago. How does it feel to be slower than a 10th grader?
I don't believe this for a second. If he really ran sub 12.7 he'd be out of high school. No CHANCE
Har har har. I got a good chuckle from this reply.
Ridiculous troll is ridiculous.

No, no. Wait a moment. I am channeling my inner ventolin^3... let's compute this dude's DVTT (tm).
OK. Standing start on a chewed up track. ~0.5s. No wind reading, when all PRs are assisted by dubious +2.0 readings. ~0.3s. No competition at all to get the juices flowing and maximize cadence, ~0.4s.
12.7-0.5-0.3-0.4 = 11.5s.
You are already in the mid-11 bracket so you only need to find 0.6s.
12.7 is solid, most idiots on here overestimate what they can run for a real 100. Being self-timed you still probably cheated the reaction time a little but still.
This is a troll thread, but it is possible for most people to run 12.0-12.5 off of half-assed training:
Absolutely. No doubt. A certainty
Trackbot! VDOT 12.7 100m
VDOT for 12.7 0.1km: 82.9
Equivalent race times based on VDOT:
Half marathon: 00:59:03

Have you ever had a thread you started on LRC deleted?
What shoes were you wearing?
Did you happen to yell "Gobble Gobble Mother F****rs" and grab your junk as you crossed the finish line?
Ummm...ever heard of Jordan Hasay?
