Coleman doesn't make it pretty buy wow. That first 60-70 meters was incredible.
Cheserek just lost the Bowerman with that performance by Coleman.
They should have given Ches the bowerman his sophomore year. Now he'll probably never get it.
Announcers:
"A historical triple [by Edward Cheserek] could be up next!"
"Historical"? "Triple"? What are they on
Scotland dominate most races here in the UK at all age groups. It's not that they're doing anything differently, just more Scottish run and therefore the standard to pick from is better. Josh Kerr has been one of the best 1500m runners since he was 14 and holds a few age group records.

Obviously its prerecorded.
The men's 800m is still listed as "under review" on the NCAA live results page:
http://www.ncaa.com/sites/default/files/external/track-field/results/d1/indoor17/index.htm
.
I know there was some contact, so it seems like at least one appeal must've been filed. Anyone got details on by/against whom for what actions?

Isaiah Harris cut into Piazza at the start of the last lap, although Piazza threw his arm out. Looked like Harris caused most of the trouble, though.
Anyone notice that the second Stanford girl looks like a pale Nevada Mareno?
Schweizer over striding like crazy. May have one but man she heel strikes like crazy. That can't help in races like this
Dani Jones having a stellar meet. Schweizer dropped the F bomb when she got tied up with Ali Cash, yellow flag went up
Wonder if Schweizer will get DQed for causing contact and stepping inside. Looked like she initiated the contact.
Also, if they could talk a little more about Oregon, that'd be great. I don't think we're hearing enough about the Ducks!
It was hard for me to tell on WatchESPN. I think Piazza might get DQ'd for putting his arm out on Harris. I wasn't sure if Piazza impeded Harris, or if Piazza was just protecting himself from getting cut off by Harris.
Slowed pace early through 600, schwizer in front, people jostling, 3:10 through 1000, Schweitzer, Furman, Indiana, Oregon girls.
Schweizer, Cranny to second, Furman, jostling- 5:01 mile
Pack spread wide, Fraser takes lead at 2k, 6:17 cash, Schweitzer, crazy, rainsberger be chilling
Pace dropping, still not quick, waiting for move.
Recever in it, Oregon girls, cu girls, pack of 8,
300 to go, cash gets stepped on and out to lane 3, schweizer on inside of track.
200 to go schweizer, rainsberger on her, Jones on her, Jones wins in last 50m push 9:09, schweizer 2nd, rainsberger 3rd.
Jones and rainsberger spent little energy until the last 400.
Dani Jones is looking great! I was calling Karissa as soon as she hit the bell but then once Jones hit the turn I retracted my prediction. Awesome meet for her but I'm waiting on a call on that jostling. Not sure if anyone is gonna be penalized. Same for the men's 800m.
Also did the announcers just say that Knight broke 4 in high school???

I would be surprised if harris stayed in the final results. With the womens 3k, it was basically deja vu all over again with dani jones and the kick. I'm not sure there was enough contact to warrant any DQs in the piece that sent cash to the outside, and I would have to see a replay to see who is even in jeopardy.
Man what happened to Cranny? Flashes of brilliance but can't stay healthy. Starting to think she will never put it together at the college level. Which is why I was sad when she chose to go to a Stanford.
To me it looked like Piazza was protecting himself after Saruni tried to pass on the inside. Looked like Saruni's fault entirely to me.
Do Oregon men have a mathematical chance?? Who cares I guess. With one event to go after this 3K, you'd think some math whiz could figure it out in about 4 seconds. Ches 1st , Maton 3rd? Would that close the gap?
