And I don't feel comfortable allowing testosterone injections by exception because of the doors that it may open.
I think it has to go both ways. My instinct is that a transgender girl who is taking hormones to suppress T, etc. wouldn't dominate everyone the way a typical male athlete competing against females would (but I'm not sure). Like I suggested earlier, looking at kids on a case-by-case basis and allowing waivers/therapeutic use exemptions for hormone therapy, etc. where it is warranted sounds workable to me.
