Typical Rojo assertion...implying that Nike/Adidas - and their team of PhDs -- are idiots. Try reading this: http://io9.gizmodo.com/5903956/the-physics-that-explain-why-you-should-wear-black-this-summer

Chepchirchir looks like she is sprinting as she pulls further away, would love to see recent split. Kipsang less than 14 minutes to go, another commercial already!!

So you think Mr. "Let me push the legal envelopes to the extremes" Alberto Salazar was wrong when he had rupp wear white in Rio was wrong>?
Even if Kipsang misses the WR, cool to see him win a major. Always liked him.
NBCS with so many commercials. Major sucking sounds for this network

This has been a great stream so far, lol.

Kipsang needs a legendary final 7.2k for the world record
You can say that again. He was on 2:03:30 pace at 35km. By my calcs he's had to run 14:14 pace from here to finish to get it unless I'm calculating wrong.
That article makes no sense nor does it cite any sources. It says white reflects light (true). It then says white is warm because it reflects the body's heat back at it. Does the author think that human bodies produce light?
Japanese guy is 2:06:45 pace at 35k. That's the good news.
The bad news is he was on 2:05:43 pace at 30k .

You wrote "was wrong" twice. Is that like a double negative? Does that mean you think he actually was wrong?

I tuned in at 30k and it's been ridiculous how many breaks there has been in the last less than 10k. I don't care about commericials in the first hour and a half, but please let me watch the last 30 minutes break free.

Crazy to think we have States twice the size of Japan & how we compare depth wise in the marathon. 1/2 way point in one minute
Hmmm. I think you are talking about land area. At 127 million population they are larger in population, by far, than any US state. I don't see how land area matters for depth in marathoning? More better training routes? At similar time of count the USA at 318 million is less than three times the size (again, population). Japan's area is 146 thousand square miles and four states are larger, yes, and the continuous US is about 21 times as large. But again, that size I don't see impacting marathon depth.
