2:19:47 2017 Tokyo
Yea nice.
We would prefer to get top ten men and women results Please!
Sara Hall runs 2:28:26, a big improvement on her old personal best of 2:30:06 set last year in London.

Not a good day for Jerry.
Did Saina DNF? Bumby is ok, but nothing special for a fast shorter guy

I'm hoping she DNF'd at this point. She still hasn't made it to 40k ;)
I didn't watch the whole thing. But besides the Daniel Kimetto thing, when Swangard says"blah, blah, blah in the last 10 meters" when he means to say "in the last 10 kilometers" I find it annoying.

After going out in 1:01:51 ... other early splits for him were 14:31, 29:12, 43:44. Basically WR pace through 15K. Wonder what he could run with sensible pacing.

I was thinking the same thing.
High 2:20s PR for Hall, good for her!!

Massive PB 2:19:47 for Sarah Chepchirchir.
Now Jemima Sumgong is Chepchirchir's training partner and is the better partner. Will Sumgong break 2:19 in London? History could be awaiting in London.

Or maybe Deksisa? He is a 2:06 marathoner (2016 Rotterdam) on his second marathon and his debut was a 2:17. This is a new territory for him.
Looks like Solomon Deksisa paid a big prize for going out with the big boys!!! 2:09 phew and got passed by most of those who chose to go at a conservative pace like Bernard Kipyego and Tsegaye Kebede. Gedion Kipketer stategically dropped back but rallied later in the race to overhaul Dickson Chumba. Great race by Evans Chebet as well.
