Altitude adjustments are based on the mean effect of that altitude for many individuals. As for any mean, there is variance among individuals, so it is too generous for some and too harsh for others, but correct (consistent with a large amount of data) on average.
Leaving that aside I'd be psyched if he proved he had more in the tank. Being from Bozeman I'd be even MORE psyched if 4th placer Chase Equall dropped some big bombs outdoors, as I think he will.
