Sure my only advice. And I was one of the first to by
the 1988 V6. Keep up with the service checks.
When you take it to a car wash, and
this should be rule for ever car/truck. Never never
never pop the hood open and spray water on the
engine. What happened both cylinder covers warped
at the seal and leaked and required multiple replacements.
The alternator ended up cutting out and crashed the
vehicle at a total loss. But if you want a good running
truck go with the V4, keep up with the service checks.
And wash carefully.
