Bruh it wasn't Mekhissi who protested, it was the French federation. Get your facts straight. Also why should Mekhissi be punished when Kemboi broke the rules? who the fudge runs on the inside of the rail? do you really feel bad for him? Those are the darn rules.

> First - I'm not your bruh. Second - these sources (the USA Today article one includes a quote from MM-B) make it pretty clear to me that he was likely the initiator of the protest, and was certainly integrally involved in it.

It's an infraction no doubt - but you will not find many people who are willing to say "he ran on the inside of the rail." Rather "he stepped once on the inside of the rail.". Not that it matters in terms of infractions - but I think most people will agree that the step inside he rail was not intentional and had no impact on the original order of the finishers.
> I never said Kemboi shouldn't be held accountable. I did say that I thought the protest was obnoxious (an opinion based on the fact that Kemboi finished well ahead of MM-B and my conclusion that his illegal step inside the rail didn't appear to have any affect on the race outcome). I also did say that it was good news that Kemboi said he'd return to competition instead of retire (an opinion based on me thinking Kemboi is a great competitor,)

> I think "uptight" would be an adjective better used to describe a person who is a firm advocate of adhering to the exact minutia of the rules, rather than allowing for any interpretation. I would also say that MM-B is a "sissy" based on the fact that he accepted/never denounced the protest or the medal.
You must be a real treat to have at parties. I'd rather have to spend time with three time Olympic medalist MM-B than with you.
