That's because you're a wiener. Lopez Lomong always had one of the biggest fan bases BECAUSE of his great story. Currently, we have like a 10 page thread on letsrun that just keeps reposting 'Paul Chelimo'. MEB won the f'ing Boston Marathon and people lost their minds with excitement.
I find those guys more relatable than douchebag Nick Symmonds or lazy Andrew Wheating.
