ail has qualified for the team 5 or 6 times and should be the same for this year.
Courtney was 4th at last year's NCAA's, was 13th the year before.

Would love to see a Chris Derrick win. Any way it goes down, the USA will be a top 5 team come Worlds.
Then I imagine you'll enjoy this article:
http://www.letsrun.com/news/2017/02/chris-derrick-back-struggling-injuries-chris-derrick-hopes-win-usa-xc-title-4-weekend/FYI, bring your snow shoes and be prepared for mid-30s and rain. A challenging race will allow some runners from out of nowhere to make the US team. I love it.
I'll be at Deschutes, no wait, Crux, or maybe Bend Brewery, Worthy, Boneyard, Monkless, Silver Moon, Immersion...oh never mind.

On a side note, where do most people stay in Bend for hotels? And is there a meet up anywhere Friday evening at a brewery? Any info. on best places to stay and drink beer are appreciated!
Cheers!

Atlas has a Groupon!
https://www.groupon.com/deals/atlas-cider-companyI don't know of a Friday night event since the race is the next morning, but the after-party has been at Silver Moon the last couple of times.
What about Joe Gray? Max King did well here last year, as the off camber stuff suits a trail runner. Gray has won the NACAC XC championships in 2014, won the 2013 club XC championships... I want to say he'll be in the top 6.
Another Kenyan parade at a US championships. Great.
On a flat road course, 100% the Kenyans win, but a semi-gnarly course with cold conditions opens the door for others. Go Derricks...he's proven in this environment. I don't think Gray is fast enough.

You mean usa citizens!! It's funny how stupid you are, those are usa citizens by naturalization whether you like it or not.
My top 20 guess is
1. Michael Biwott (Because he is Kenyan nothing more needs to be said)
2. Samuel Chelanga (See number 1 for details)
3. Hilary Bor (See number 1 for details)
4. Emmanuel Bor (See number 1 for details and too add at least this Hilary isn’t a political nightmare).
5. Shadrack Kipchirchir (See number 1 for details)
6. Nicholas Kipruto (See number 1 for details)
7. Leonard Korir (See number 1 for details)
8. Peter Koskey (See number 1 for details)
9. Augustus Maiyo (See number 1 for details and I love maiyo makes anything taste great)
10. Matthew De Villers (He recently read Once a Runner Has big Dreams)
11. Brian Dumm (He is not dumm enough to not be in the top 20)
12. Riley Coates (Graduated from the Air Force Academy and has run some college races before)
13. Gabe Gonzalez (Because his first name is Gabe and there was a Gabe that made the 2000 Olympic team).
14. David Harkin (Because nobody else thinks he will make the world team so I will give him a shot at the top 20)
15. Richard Jennings (See number 4 for details).
16. Juan Castillo Jr (Has run sub 15:00 for 5k)
17. Kyle King (Because there was a Max King that has had some solid results in this race).
18. Tyler King (See number 8).
19. Max King (Will finish behind these two other kinds because the new kings will prevail).
20. Michael Jordan (In his 50’s but a natural talented athlete from his Basketball days to Baseball golf and even running evidently).

He designed this one, too, but I think he had to make changes because of the large amount of snow.

We've had a hell of a winter and there are some large piles of snow. Like was mentioned before, there is a ton of ice and snow and more on its way, so long spikes and whoever is best in running in this would be who I put my money on.
Joe Grey will be winning this.
Ryan Mahalsky will crack into the top 10
With the freezing ice storm headed our way tonight, so you think you will be able to drive from Portland to Bend tomorrow?
