Many disc-golf discs. Most found 15 years ago and still use them.
Saw a $100 bill on the ground during a 10k in about 06/07 passed on it, bc I wanted to beat the guy ahead of me. Finished 3rd and still lost to Nick Arciniaga! Dang it!!

My dad brought a tarantula home in his shirt once when I was a kid, I think that it was at least 4 miles from home.

Why do so many of you carry turtles home? Move it out of the road I could see, but carry it home?
No, the ran home along side it, keekng pace.
I'm jealous of you guys
The only thing I've found is a small plastic army guy, 2 miles
Old Toyota Hubcap, 3 miles
25 MPH speed limit sign, 1 mile
Surprised no one has picked up caps, I got lots, sports teams, golf courses, Bass Pro Shops, companies, and oh, yeah, a Puerto Rican flag, but I told my roomies it was Texas.
You people must live in disgusting neighborhoods. I barely see trash, let alone anything I would remotely consider taking home.
I found a tumble weed that was on fire under a tunnel (probably some delinquent started it) and I peed on it and the fire went out
Shop Vac 1 mile
I have a large bag of ~200-250 golf balls that I have found on runs since I was in the 7th grade.
I found an aviator watch that I later discovered retails for $1400. I call it my lucky watch and I wore it to my wedding (but not as lucky as meeting my wife!)
I find cash while running about once or twice a year, most I ever found at once was $40, two twenties rolled up.
A ~3 foot long framed print of the Last Supper. It was about 2 miles from my apartment, all running on sidewalks. I felt like I was in the Da Vinci Code.
-a kitten crying by a river which I came back to with a car post run. Took it to a cat lady I knew of.
-Brand new unopened pack of mortar fireworks. This was in the winter in a state where mortars are illegal. No idea why they were abandoned but I still got em waiting for use in my closet
-homemade lugnut wrench / Phillips head tool
-working cell phone which I tried to return to the guy but he didn't seem interested, it was a POS. Still have it and can use it if I switch my sim card into it.
I think that's it
Tiny kitty cat. Held it in my hands and ran home on a hot day. Named it toad
Found a cellphone on a trail run. Turned out it belonged to a guy I knew.
wow this thread really took off. speaking of which today I found a pink bandana and ran it six miles home. in the wash as I type.
I found $100 in $20 bills as I ran through a parking lot at my school. I felt bad for the poor college kid who dropped it, so actually went in to the building it was near and asked at the front desk if anyone reported dropping money. They said no. I asked again on my way back and they said, dude, just keep it. I still felt a little bad so called the campus police and asked if anyone reported losing a bit of money in that parking lot. They said no, but I could drop it off. I asked if no one claimed it if I would get I back. They said they weren't sure and then asked for my name. I of course hung up. I'm sure they had caller ID but didn't care enough to call me back. I figured I'd done my best a spent that money conscience clean.

Big mistake. In the Book of Exodus, the Burning Bush was where God named Moses head of the Israelites to lead them out of Egypt into Caanan. You were a new chosen one, but you pissed away a great opportunity.
running in new paltz i found a frisbee with a big Syracuse "S" on it on the side of the highway. super dirty but really good condition. i ran the last 2 or 3 miles with it tucked under my arm and felt like a d bag but no ragrets
You wouldn't believe how beautiful this knife was. Perfect craftsmanship.
