Hello, I am a sophomore boy, and I would like to know if I can break 5 for the mile.
Recent workouts: I did a 3 mile tempo in 18 minutes. It didn't feel too hard.
I did 10 miles at 6:45 pace, and could have gone an extra 2 miles because I wasn't that tired.
During cross country I did 45 miles per week and my pr was 17:41. At track last year my pr for the 3200 was 11:20. I am doing 45 miles per week now too and will go to 50 soon. I feel like my speed needs work as my tempo felt a little fast, but not too hard. What can I run for the mile or 3200? I know this isn't that much information but please give me your best estimate. Thank you
