Classic Trump type response. In response to the millions demonstrating they do not like what they see from Trump, the Trumpster posts a few pictures and then claims they were all freaks.News for you, there were many quality women demonstrating against Trump.Sad but failed attempt to pant them as freaks. Donald though would be proud of your attempt.

it's going to be unstoppable.
What exactly? What's going to be unstoppable? Serious question.
TRUMP'S FIRST DAY AS PRESIDENT SHOWS HE'S CRAZY!
First he speaks to our intelligence leaders the same one that one week ago he compared to nazis and ridiculed and now he said no one respects them more than him and that he LOVES them. Then he rambled for a while about how smart he was and how everybody who was smart voted for him. Most of his speech was how great he was.
Then he sends his press secretary to meet with the press so that Spicer can give this them this invective about how they lied about Trump's crowd size. Then Spicer is crazy enough to say out loud that Trump had the largest crowd ever for an inauguration (obviously pictures here show this clearly was not the case). The press secretary refuses to take any questions and then storms out? Wow this is all nuts.

There's nothing more vulgar and offensive than these past words of our now President:
"I did try and f her. She was married. I moved on her like a b, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married. Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony t and everything. She’s totally changed her look... I’ve gotta use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her. You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful—I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the p. You can do anything

The power and influence that such organization and activism will bring. Just look at what the Tea Party did.
I get it.
They boycott LLBean, the other side should boycott Burton snowboards.

Good point. And angry people mobilize with much more fervor and passion then content people.

And, in the end, it would be great if rational, knowledgeable, problem solving, and long-term thinking type people sat down and worked on solutions that would cut into the heart of the nation's problems, but that does not seem like the usual course of action anymore in this country. Hence, massive protests/marches/activism/rallies simply to get out the word.
Yes. True.
The only thing I can think Trump and his people are doing is trying to get their fanboys not to trust the media so when polls show there are large numbers of people do not like Trump policies they can then claim the media cannot be trusted. Trump is being persecuted.

The irony will be that the media took those polls and reported on them. Part of the job of the media is to hold leaders accountable and point out flaws in policy. Trump's team doesn't like that idea, obviously. They want to completely control the information and messaging.

That's a fair point, and I admittedly was writing in simplified language in my original post. But to elaborate: we already have a country where there is a giant "dead zone" in the Gulf of Mexico from agricultural run-off. We already have a country in which Appalachian streams are dangerously at risk from coal tailings, and a sordid history of what happens when regulations against those tailings are weakened. We already have a country in which untold numbers of American species are endangered from habitat loss. Given this country as it stands, rolling back environmental regulations would be a terrible thing. And I do not understand why people are willing to embrace a dirtier environment and the permanent loss of our natural heritage for the hope of a an extra point in GDP growth. Talk about a wretched, Faustian bargain.
I'm not convinced that losing species is necessarily bad--species tend to vanish. However, that aside, I can't really dispute the rest of your points.
Millions of people protesting Trumps craziness around the world. I'm sure out of that group you could find a few more pictures of odd balls. But there are MILLIONS worldwide. The Trump methods of saying they are stupid or ugly or odd just won't take.

Cold comfort.
Congress has a slim Republican majority, and will play Trump like a cheap fiddle until he's alienated himself enough for them to impeach.
Congress has a list of pet projects they want de-funded among a host of other crazy and already failed policy they resurected. We're not even onto the plainly racist policy makers and their terrible ideas.
Democrats seem to be pretending it wasn't their fault they lost ALL the way down the ballot AND there are mid-term elections coming soon. And they seem to pretend there is no gerrymandering epidemic.
Lots of trouble ahead. I hope these marchers vote in the mid-terms.
I favored Trump over Clinton, on the theory that he will bring in a fresh crop of thieves, while Hillary would have enabled the current crop to burrow in deeper.
