So true! People from other countries need to learn how to dress like slobs (shorts, sandals and t-shirts everywhere), eat hamburgers and other assorted craps and drink beer until they become overweight slobs, sit on their fat asses all day playing with their smartphones or video game controllers, consume more illegal drugs than the rest of the world combined, and shoot up schools, post offices, casinos, churches, etc. Which country wouldn't benefit from the enlightened perspective Americans have to offer?
This is why you lost!
Can you not see the hypocrisy?
I try to maintain the illusion that I'm conversing with intelligent people, but I'm struggling with that today.
You're a terrible liar.

Lol...
Democrats lost because of how the system is set up.
Total votes in 2016
President
Democrat - 65,845,063
Republican - 62,980,160
Senate (1/3 of seats up for election)
Democrat - 51,496,682
Republican - 40,402,790
House
Republican - 63,173,815
Democrat - 61,776,554
Democrats won the popular vote in 2 of the 3 segments yet Republicans won control of all 3.
Obviously Californians and New Yorkers need to spread out and move into the Carolinas and Dakotas

Never mind.
No we "lost" because of:
1. Three decades of GOP-led character assault against Hillary Clinton that turned up nothing burger after nothing burger;
2. a concerted effort to hack the electoral process by the Russians;
3. Racist Nazis such as yourself whose azzholes burned raw because a (gasp) black man was president;
4. Gerrymandering that leads to an 8% tilt in the GOP favor;
5. A corroded electoral college as Hillary Clinton won by 3 million votes;
6. Unbridled opposition to every one of Obama's policy proposals by the corrupted GOP congress.
This is just to name some.

That's it. The illusion is shattered.
I agree immigrants must follow our laws. Most people that come from the countries in discussion are good law-abiding people, in fact.
As far as the other parts of of their culture (language, arts, dress, religion, food, etc...) , I see no reason why they should be forced to abandon them. If they want to assimilate, they are free to do so. But, it's none of your business if or when they do so. What you are advocating is fascism.
Irrelevant to the discussion. We are talking about multiculturalism here, not in Somalia. I wouldn't profess to tell Somalians what to do with their country. I believe in multiculturalism in America.
I never insulted American culture. Just the opposite, I said America is great because of it's amalgam of cultures. The reason to continue allowing immigrants from various countries is to further America's greatness.
In his sh1thole comment, Trump said "why."
This implies, in what's left of his mind, that there exists an "us" and a "them," and "them" don't deserve anything.

Well, then you'd have to apply that to other general elections.
The Democrats were clobbered all the way down ballots. And then you had a really weak candidate with a party that didn't really mind it's base in the prior 4 years. Don't forget that many votes were split by third parties. And then you had a Republican who could emotionally motivate some non-voters.

I really want to know if Trump supporters believe things like today's announcement (tweet) by Trump regarding the London trip and the Embassy where he blames Obama, when it is known that the Embassy decision was made before Obama took office? Do you just blindly accept it, find it acceptable to lie since it is Obama being blamed, think it is total BS and just take it since you agree with his politics, ...?
I think they mostly believe it. We know since the beginning that providing alternate facts was a core strategy.

N Europeans are smart, have money, speak English, have very little crime and fit seamlessly into our country...
Isn't all of this common sense?
Do Europeans want to come to our $hithole country though?
I predict the losers of this thread - its_bad_dude, Rigged for Hillary, Disco Gary and the other Trumpers (multiple handles) will be crapping all over this thread on a Friday night + weekend with bogus links from Breitbart, Fox, Zero Hedge, etcetera, and while the rest of us with real lives actually get outside and do something.

I'm not sure Isolationist Gary has ever bothered to talk to someone whose first language isn't English. Banning/deporting people from entire countries sounds a bit...fascist, doesn't it? We wouldn't want that, now would we?
There is a reason people value diversity. It is because most of us don't live under a rock and realize that people from other countries/cultures are no less human than we are simply because of where they were born, and bring unique perspectives to the table.
In before Gary says: "SO LET'S GIVE VISAS TO ALL OF ISIS THEN HURRRDURRR." So bloody predictable.
After the last few pages Gary definitely proved that people are comfortable being openly racist - there’s no shame in it anymore. We first went from “these bad people” to “people from shithole countries” - noticed how that casts a much broader net... should we guess what that will morph into next? Perhaps to specifically singling out “lazy black people” or “ragheads”? Why not? It’s just a little step from the current rhetoric, but it’ll still be for M@GA so it’ll be justified. Conservatives have been sleepwalking into Trump racist land with eyes wide open.

He has a long history of "us vs. them" talk, including calling violent racists "fine people" in office and while campaigning making sweeping declarations about violent "Mexicans" and still more sweeping allegations about America's urban cores.
Meanwhile: Trump officials move to allow Medicaid work requirements
A direct attack on his base. Forgotten voters are forgotten.

I'd beat you by 6 minutes in a 5K! Hungover.
I think there are some areas of this country where that type of person would fit in quite well.
How areas that vote for criminals?
How areas where individuals refuse to pay the government and arm themselves and take over government property?
Low education...corruption....yep they would fit in easily.
I just don't see any reason why the U.S. should admit anyone, but the best, from "shithole countries" - aside from a purely emotional objection about 'racism' or what-not, it's entirely rational to keep masses from "shithole countries" coming into our nation.
