Worth posting again. You guys should all read this if you haven't already. It should challenge assumptions on both sides.
It portrays the campaign as a massive PR stunt that was never meant to succeed and President Trump as a man hopelessly out of his depth, along with the rest of his team.
If you're thinking fake news then skip to the end:
"HOW HE GOT THE STORY
This story is adapted from Michael Wolff’s book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, to be published by Henry Holt & Co. on January 9. Wolff, who chronicles the administration from Election Day to this past October, conducted conversations and interviews over a period of 18 months with the president, most members of his senior staff, and many people to whom they in turn spoke. Shortly after Trump’s inauguration, Wolff says, he was able to take up “something like a semi-permanent seat on a couch in the West Wing” — an idea encouraged by the president himself. Because no one was in a position to either officially approve or formally deny such access, Wolff became “more a constant interloper than an invited guest.” There were no ground rules placed on his access, and he was required to make no promises about how he would report on what he witnessed.
Since then, he conducted more than 200 interviews. In true Trumpian fashion, the administration’s lack of experience and disdain for political norms made for a hodgepodge of journalistic challenges. Information would be provided off-the-record or on deep background, then casually put on the record. Sources would fail to set any parameters on the use of a conversation, or would provide accounts in confidence, only to subsequently share their views widely. And the president’s own views, private as well as public, were constantly shared by others. The adaptation presented here offers a front-row view of Trump’s presidency, from his improvised transition to his first months in the Oval Office."
Dear Flagpole and the rest of the Liberals here:
Please quit your bellyaching and whining. The American people voted and they voted for President Trump to lead the country to great things. So enough. Just stop with the incessant immature rants. Flagpole said country over party. Well listen to him. Put the United States over the democratic party. We can all make this country great again. Deal?

To add one more thing - you all sound like bitter crybabbling babies. Give it a rest. We all accepted Obama as president when he won and we would have accepted Hillary IF she had won. So just move on. No more posts on this thread. Let's let it die.

Is this Bannon sour grapes over Alabama?
If Roy Moore had won in Alabama, would we be seeing Bannon's rants?
If Trump has lost even a fraction of the Bannonites, he's in huge trouble. We could even see approval ratings in the 20's. That makes Trump ripe for impeachment and removal from office.
Elections have consequences and every vote counts.
The peaches are getting ripe!!

Alternate reality Pete........why yes the Republicans were very accepting of Obama and showed their willingness to work with him.
And I suppose you think Trump is rational too.

The American people did not vote for Trump. HRC won the popular vote. Trump only won because of the archaic electoral college and Russian meddling. It’s not like Trump has a mandate.
Trump’s approval rating is at historical lows. He clearly only speaks for a minority of Americans.
America is great and will be great with or without Trump. A way to make it even better is to have truely democratically elected Presidents.
I’m not a Democrat. I just want a competent and mentally mature POTUS.
Did Bannon say all of this stuff after he got canned? If so, he might be making stuff up to make Trump look bad. Bannon plays dirty, bro.

Ridiculous! Americans voted for Nixon too. Americans voted for Bill Clinton. Does that mean we don't hold them to account once they are in office?
By all accounts, Trump is stupid and lazy. He is also a criminal. You Trumpers liked him in part because he vowed to be US-centric and stay out of foreign affairs...BS...he has alienated most of the world and issued provocative statements regarding nuclear war with North Korea.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.
I know you “Hillary fainted on 9-11 and almost died but I would still Worship her” Lovers think you have something.

Supreme Court Justices!!
Boom! Boom!

I will not believe a lie.
Your story is a wasted effort.
But the following is true.

So, what you are saying is that you are once again trying to excuse away Trump's behavior or report of his behavior? Trump must be the most picked on person in the history of the world!
Dude, Tillerson called him a moron. A guy on his legal team quit because he witnessed what he felt was obstruction of justice, Corker said he wasn't competent, and this list goes on and on and on.
Bannon actually has continued to PRAISE Trump after being fired, so for him to do that AND then also say bad things about him and his staff shows that he probably speaks the truth.
Neil Gorsuch
Meet your new Supreme Court Justice, thank you very much. He is a great guy.
Scalia was good too.

Don’t forget Scalia, he died under suspicion according to some people.

^This. Yup. Solid logic on display right here! Don’t y’all remember that time H.R. Clinton died after the election? All of those claims she was deathly ill during the 2016 election. Clearly that was all true!
This. This is why the Liberals and the political establishment are fighting back so hard. They've lost control of their "democracy."

Hillary was and is too ill to serve as President, and she has a drinking problem. We are MAGAing with the economy, foreign policy, and the border, and Hillary is still sitting there #resisting in her "nasty woman" t-shirt. She is the biggest sore loser and America dodged a bullet.

Trickle down economic for sure does not work, but all indications are that we will continue to see a strong economy through the 2020 election; recession not on the horizon despite an unnecessary tax cut. Normally that is pretty good news for the incumbent, but there is just too much baggage for Trump for 2020. The Democrats need to pick someone who is free of scandal, and if they do and there is no cheating like this last time, the Democrats will win.
Flagpole 2016: Trump has ZERO chance to win!
Flagpole 2017: Trump has ZERO chance to finish his first term!
Flagpole 2018: Trump has ZERO chance to be reelected except when Russia helps him again!
...
Flagpole 2025: Trump is FINISHED!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
He is such a silly little man. Can't wait to see what he fills that gap with. LOL
I hope I can help all the liberal Democrats here.
Over the holidays I was at a party where the hostess was saying that she had heard that Mueller had turned on the Democrats and that Hillary and Obama and all the other corrupt Democrats were finally going to be investigated and made to pay for their crimes. All our dreams were about to come true!
Her husband rolled his eyes.
Her daughter yelled "More conspiracy theories!" from the next room.
She looked at me hoping to find an ally. I said "I am not going to torture myself by allowing myself to believe that Democrats will be held accountable for their corruption. There is no chance that will happen."
Bill Clinton lied under oath in a Federal court while President and wasn't thrown out! Obama was never going to be thrown out of office because of a birth certificate, and Trump is not going to be thrown out of office over collusion conspiracy theories.
I have said this before. When you believe your own side's propaganda, you end up suffering... no matter which side you're on. It's just unhealthy. I feel sorry for you guys. Oops. I feel sorry for you zhes.

No one cares about Bannon. He isn't the president. Sure, they liked him. They liked him because he was on Trump's side, and clearly had an anti-establishment mindset. But they get nothing out of Bannon. No satisfaction.
For all they know, Bannon is getting big bucks from someone to turn on Trump. Remember how desperate the establishment is here.
