The amount of stupid on this thread is astronomical. Nothing has been proven false about the dossier. That said, even the author thinks that only 70-90% of it is accurate. As a former spy he realizes that some of the information shared by sources was disinformation. Part of how the game works.
So much to reply to, so little time.
Fake news is the argument of simpletons and a genuine threat to democracy. If you're paying attention, when MSM sources make a mistake, they quickly make a correction. In addition, journalists are suspended or fired. When was the last time Fox did either?
Trumpers should try to broaden their source material, as relying on Fox, Brietbart, The Federalist, Facebook, etc. is not helping you. Personally, I read blogs and Twitter pages (and you don't need a Twitter account) from people on both sides and then I'll look at news sources based on what these sources reference. It helps to decipher between truth and BS.
Bashing the FBI is just trying to deflect on the inevitable. One, there are always corrupt people within any organization. (See FBI NY field office.) Six months ago you couldn't have found a single talking head, politician, etc. bad mouthing Mueller. He has long been respected for his integrity. People are getting scared and rightfully so. His investigation in way ahead of what we're reading in the news. He's dotting his i's and crossing his t's. He's building bullet-proof cases, most of which will never go to trial as the evidence will be overwhelming. He's methodically planning indictments to ensure a smooth transition of power and to protect against pardons.
At some point the evidence will be so overwhelming that Congress won't have a choice but to proceed with impeachment hearings. If not, other FVEY countries will likely start leaking evidence that will expose the Trump enterprise.
Again, as I've said over and over, this will be YUGE historically, implicating both Republicans and Democrats, but I don't think, from what I've read, that you should count on HRC or Obama going down. And it has nothing to do with a 'deep state', as years of investigations under a Republican Congress were unable to yield any indictments.
Country over party. Our democracy is at stake and partisanship, tribalism and whataboutism is only going to hurt us going forward.
