While we can argue about whether he's flattened out in the mid-to-high 30s or if his popularity continued to gradually erode over the last several months, what is clear is just what an astonishing, and still not properly appreciated, achievement this is. Put aside questions about how well a start this bad predicts how he'll be seen in November 2018 or November 2020: To get this unpopular, this fast, and to do it in an era of relatively good times, is just breathtaking.

The bad polling numbers show that not every American is crazy, and that's a relief. Trump hasn't done a single thing he said he would do.
1) No Muslim ban.
2) No wall. Get real, that wall will NEVER be built. Insane that he said the whole time that Mexico would pay for it and now he wants Congress (American tax payers) to. How are his voters not enraged or at least put off by this?
3) Trump wasn't going to get involved in international dealings. This was a big thing for him...he said we needed to focus on stuff at home and couldn't get involved in other parts of the world. Well, he bombs Syria, he threatens North Korea with nuclear war. He has pissed off Iran and many of our allies over that Iran deal, and he reportedly asked for 10 times the nuclear capability that we have now even though that would take over 300 years according to experts. Dude knows nothing.
4) China is now great.
5) The UN is no longer obsolete.
6) He apparently spoke with the President of the Virgin Islands (umm...NOPE!)
7) This weekend was not the first time he was in a room for a signing and forget to do the signing until he was reminded by others in the room. What the h*ll is wrong with this guy?
So, word is starting to circulate that in order to keep him from being impeached and possibly imprisoned that they will say he has Alzheimer's and allow him to be removed by the 25th Amendment. Part of me wants him to feel the full impact of the law based on what I'm sure he has done, but if we can get him out of office as soon as possible via the 25th Amendment, then I'm all for that. He needs to go. He is a danger to the US and the world.
