Fun to watch DeSantis desperately trying to get to the right of Trump. There are a handful of donors that had hoped that DeSantis would be a less insane, more moderate Trump but because DeSantis really has no policies other than copy Trump's grievance schtick, it is making DeSantis look like an idiot. Trump will destroy him if you want to play Trump's grievance game.
I think DeSantis played it wrong and he can't correct it now. He's not going to win over any of the Trump base...you know...the voters who's collective name begins with an M followed by an A followed by a G and followed lastly by another A. There's no chance.

He should have run a little more from the center and he may have picked up the center right, independents and some center left who don't like Biden (in a general election).
