They never really brought evidence of Russian collusion. Of course there is plenty of evidence of foreign influence over Biden 's family. Not to mention that two of their biggest donors are a Hungarian hedge fund billionaire (Soros) living in New York and a Swiss Billionaire (Wyss) living in Wyoming. I guess that foreign money is okay.
Soros' money isn't "foreign" money.
Trump's wife was born in Europe. If she makes a contribution (I know, not likely, but this is a hypothetical) is is foreign money? What about if Trump's mother had contributed something (again, a hypothetical), would that have been foreign money? She was born in the UK.

Trump's term illustrated the ignorance behind his 2014 statement. The President has little ability to influence the violence in the streets of US cities. Trump discovered that in 2020. Although Trump is just the sort of bigot to that that the gangs in Chicago would listen to Obama just because some have a similar skin tone if only Obama cared enough to act.

Not to mention that Soros is an American citizen, and has been for 60 years. His money is as American as joed!rt's, assuming that joed!rt is American.

Considering a lot of his money is in offshore entities in Bermuda and $18 Billion or more is sheltered tax free in his Open Society Foundation (an entity that has been banned from six countries including his home country of Hungary because he uses it to manipulate currencies and create political instability, just as he has done in the US), it is hard to call his money "domestic".
Why don’t Trump fans want to acknowledge this?

In fairness we should note that the subpoena to the school is to find out whether *others*--NOT Donald Trump--may have received benefits from him (school tuition) without declaring it on their taxes. Apparently Donald Trump himself is not in any potential trouble directly related to this subpoena.
I suppose it's possible that IF someone didn't declare a tuition benefit on taxes and IF s/he was facing serious punishment, then s/he MIGHT offer up dirt on Donald Trump with the hope of lighter penalties. But that seems like pretty thin beer. Nothing to see here, move along.

I disagree. If Weisselberg didn't declare these tuition payments as part of his income, he's may be guilty of tax fraud. This puts more pressure on him to flip on the Donald. Apparently, Weisselberg already cooperated with the NY AG on closing down Trump's crooked Foundation. According to the daughter-in-law, Weisselberg would know pretty much every criminal act that Trump has committed. Weisselberg can surely guide the prosecutors through those millions of pages of business records that Vance got from Mazars. If the NY DA can flip Weisselberg, that's one more nail in Trump's coffin.

All of his fan boys have deserted Trump, all hiding.
Now it's getting interesting.
