All of the news is about Hurricane Irma.
Maybe Trump has learned that if he generally stays quiet and doesn't say dumb things he won't get bad press.

Republican's are trying to nullify the 2016 Election.
I was in DC recently at a bar and over heard this message:
"Obama is blackmailing Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan."

Perhaps both of these statements are true.
Perhaps the Trump phenomenon is not a one-off event. Perhaps it is the beginning of the new normal where ignorance reigns.

It's where people will need to understand that their choices carry repurcussions to themselves. The strict-right mindset is, it's all about me and f*** you, or at least this is how it is leading and the mindset that's driving it. Those same people have heavy dependency on the advantages they gain in a shared social structure. The problem part of it as is that they really don't care about the shared side, they have little intent to share but will happily take whatever they can get. More moderately, they want to make sure they get more than they give. It's very one sided and unsustainable by it's very nature.
The right seems to view honesty as a weakness.

The Democrat platform is not to redistribute wealth.
They favor programs that establish welfare for those in need and are inclined to a more progressive tax policy that leans more on the wealthy.
But they can't legislate corporations to give raises to their employees and take lower profits.
People need to stand up for themselves and demand higher pay.
Stop blaming the government.
All that does is lead to voters switching parties every election looking for the greener grass and often voting against their interests (when they vote Republican).
Which, is why the middle class is whithering. Lots of ways to enhance middle class with industrial and labor policy.
#LOL@TedCruz
Ted Cruz "accidentally" liked a porno clip he watched feature an porn actress who sort of looks like his wife. Ted Cruz claims a staffer was guilty of using his Twitter account. Cruz has been trying to blame his staff while also saying that the like was unintentional and not a malicious act. In other words, Ted accidentally hit the like button while he was _____ (fill in the blank).
5 times? The first 4 times just weren't enough for Mayor Murray?

-Anthony Weiner
-Jacob Schwartz (de Blasio staffer)

I am still here. It's just that nice conundrum has taken over snarky conundrum. Nice conundrum is a good guy, but he is kind of boring and doesn't have that much to say.
(He does like to talk about himself in the third person.)
The thread will be fine without snarky conundrum.

I'm not defending those three, but you are clearly omitting Republicans in similar situations.

"co-dependent on the Fed"
That's right.
The people are dependent on the Fed and the Fed is dependent on the people.
Together we accomplish more than either on their own.
Is that why libbbtwats pick and choose what Federal Laws should be enforced and which ones are to be ignored? Working Together? Accomplishing so much😆
You dumb fcks are so consistently hypocritical😆â—ï¸
Yeah- you just love the FED, so much so you don't want to follow Federal immigration laws😆😂😆😂😆😂â—ï¸

I wound disagree............while it may not be the "official" platform, it certainly is the "unofficial". Its the Bernie revolution, don't you remember? "Demand" higher pay? For what? if you suck at your job, do you deserve higher pay? Why should the government be involved at all? Perhaps once when many corporations were gouging their workers but now? Same goes for Unions........outlived their usefulness. How bout we reward success, instead of mediocrity?

All press is good press to Trump.
A day or two later, McConnell gives Trump the finger and says there's no funding vote in December.
Trump is playing a game he cannot comprehend. He's McConnell's bitch now and doesn't even know it.
Has there ever been such a weak, powerless coward in that office?

Yes, Obama. MUCH, MUCH more of a little limp wristed bitch. Just ask his wife. Also ask Putin, who bitch slapped him and HRC on numerous occasions, also ask the mullahs in Iran. Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan can't get squat done, I suspect they will both be gone following the next election cycle for each. As they should.
That line is pure comedy gold.
