According to Worldometer, here is the 7 day average for the last two days:
Sept. 12: 35,206
Sept. 13: 35,332
Sept. 14: 37,142
That's a jump in the average of almost 2000 cases in only two days. Remember, that's a jump in the AVERAGE.
Again, it's very preliminary, but we haven't yet seen a jump that high and quick unless we were in a long surge. It's definitely not what we want to see going into the winter.
Sept. 15: 38,286
That's a jump of 3000 cases in the 7 day average over just three days. Again, it's early but this has only happened when we are in a surge.
