Sally, I know you want to focus on the past, but can we get your comment on the current situation with the post office?
Honestly, it is very concerning. You liberals have really rankled me in how you have tried to overturn the 2016 election, the election that Trump rightfully won. First, it was 2-and-a-half years of the bogus Mueller investigation, of which almost every one the investigators was a big liberal donor or just a partisan liberal. The final verdict: no Trump-Russian collusion/conspiracy. That it was a witch hunt is undeniable. Then we had the impeachment hearings, led by the overtly partisan Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler. Schiff was colluding and leading the testimony of one of the key witnesses. It was a sham impeachment. Just a sham.
Having said that, we need fair elections. This country was founded in large part on free and fair elections. No matter how much I dislike Hillary I want the process to be fair to all involved. I don't dislike Biden anywhere near as much as I disliked Hillary, but I feel that the Biden/Harris ticket needs no misdoings by the incumbent president. You Dems here are all on board that Trump has begun manipulating the postal service to help win his re-election. I am not there yet, but am watching with a close eye to make sure no shenanigans are going on.
What really saddens me is what comes next year. If Biden/Harris win, I can see Biden not being able to finish his term and the fairly radical Harris would take over and really hurt the country. If Trump wins fairly, we will see a replay of 2017-2020 with endless investigations into Trump and phony accusations of voter suppression/voter fraud/mail fraud. That would be the better scenario. The one that would be even worse is if Trump actually manipulated and stole the election. Then we would have a serious constitutional crisis, not the bogus crises that we heard about over the last 3 years.
