this episode once again highlights the incompetency of the trump administration. They publicly offered the job to a nat sec advisor before they knew he would take it. He declined, embarassing Trump.
Now the pres sec guaranteed that the navy candidate was on board. Then the guy dropped out later that day.

Yes, he withdrew, but there is nothing sinister about it. One day he was on board, the next day he found out what he needed to do to satisfy the government. He chose money over politics. Your raving lunatic comments above are not in line with reality.
