I happen to agree that President Trump is more likely to be re-elected than not: His trade war has kept the economy from overheating, he'll have all the advantages of incumbency, and the media will once again give him billions of dollars of free pub--because he sells papers and magazines (and clicks).
But what I find most interesting about this post is a phenomenon I've observed in quite a few Trumpeters: For them, the absolute peak of the Trump presidency was Election Night, months before he was actually inaugurated. Nothing can beat the distress they saw on others.
One might want to ask oneself whether Schadenfreude on Election Night is really the best thing one could want from a presidency; but these particular folks don't seem to be tuned in to introspection, so they keep it simple: "Own the Libs" is their entire political platform.
Sad, kinda.
Huh? Yet all this thread has done for almost three years is redo the 2016 election. Gosh, do know what to think of your post other than scratch my head.
Everyday trump deteriorates a little more. His emotional problems are no longer hidden. He's cracking up.
I enjoy watching him become more and more removed from reality.
His supporters are lost and confused. It sucks to be them.
Agreed.

Genuine question is there evidence or suggestion that Bolton leaked to Maddow? Or is it just make believe?
I don’t watch Maddow as I cannot tolerate her voice or style of reporting at all. She infuriates me to be honest.

Time for you to leave Ohio. This is Trump country! So suck on that, democrat.

You are delusional. Latest poll says 52% of Americans want Trump impeached and removed from office. RCP poll average has him down to 42.something approval rating. His Syria debacle has made some GOP leaders greatly question his decision making, and he just called General Mattis the most overrated General. He is losing American support and GOP leadership support, and a lot of Trump supporters won't take too kindly to him saying bad things about General Mattis.
Take off your blinders.

Wow, ignorant, racist, white-bread, cracker Trumpanzees can make comment proving their extreme ignorance.
Gonna take back something I said earlier.
I had previously said Rick Perry would escape any punishment for his behavior. I now no longer think that. Not ready to call how big that punishment will be, but he is in more hot water than it previously seemed.

Too close with Sondland with the whole Three Amigos thing...usually when you associate with shady people/situations, you end up being guilty of something.
He still could escape anything big, but he's not just the innocent mook I thought he was before...at least that's how it looks right now. He's low on my list of concern at this point, and I may change my mind based on evidence.
View from an enlightened Republican:
Trump made a foolish and heartless move without consulting anyone, by pulling out military and communicating an open door for the slaughter of the Kurds. This was wrong on so many levels both morally and strategically. Our elected Republican leaders finally showed some courage and ethics and defied trump. I was happy to see that, there may be a ray of hope for our party.
But here's the rub. Our leaders know that Trump is a hugely flawed man, but our base think he is a great leader. The Republican base now feels trump leaving the Kurds was the right thing to do for America. Trump can do no wrong in their eyes. They are fiercely and naively dedicated to him.
I watched some of the debate, the democrats have been taken over by the progressives. Biden is not a leader in the party and the voices of reason in the Democrat party are second tier candidates. The core Democrat base seems to want someone who promises free and easy health care, free college, free money erasure of debt, and who will punish rich and successful businesses. Trump is a conman, but the progressive wing is conning the democrats into believing they can deliver all that. They can't and they won't.
Our Republican and Democrat voters leave me very disappointed. People can very easily be manipulated and this puts out democracy at risk. Certainly Trump is a criminal that needs to go. But republican elected officials know if Trump falls they fall. The door then will be open for the progressives selling promises for free and easy stuff.
Agree, the trump experiment opens the door for progressives.
Ghost, we’re not re-doing the ‘16 election, that would mean war with Russia. But we’re certainly going to legally fvck up some of the traitors involved.

True, the traitors who have lied and betrayed our trust need to pay severely. This includes not only trump and Giuliani but all the others too who have lied on behalf of trump. And all those pu$$y republicans who put party before country deserve humiliation and need to be voted out.
The man who said he would drain the swamp, has brought a level of corruption to our government that is unparalleled.
Am I angry? Yes. Am I enjoying watching Trump and Giuliani unravel as their crimes become exposed? You bet.
And any who will deny that Trump is unraveling, is living in a total state of denial.

I agree with much of your post, but not this part.
Most Trumpistas--that is, a solid majority--couldn't tell you exactly who General Mattis (or was) . . . and in any case Mattis was then and Trump is now. (It's instructive to look back in this thread a year, say, and see what we were talking about then. In this headline-a-day administration, those scandals are now entirely forgotten--and so Syria will be, in twelve months' time.)
A majority of Americans, and not just Trumpeters, honestly care very little about Syria (which they couldn't find on a map) or the Kurds. They might care a bit more if the Kurds were Christian, but most are Muslim--and they're all kinda brown in any case. So to most Americans the Kurds aren't real: They're some people "over there," and we're concerned about here.
As has been previously noted in this thread, most of the GOP politicians who are reaming President Trump about his Syria decisions are absolutely in lockstep with him on domestic policies, and those are the policies that their voters overwhelmingly focus on. The GOP pols' Syria "outrage" helps them hedge their bets, in case things really go south for the President; but above all they want to be re-elected, and when push comes to shove they will remain behind Trump 100%: Lukewarm Trump support could cost them in primaries.

Again, you act like a hardass here. When in real life you would never come up to me and act like that. Isn't that true? You would never come up to me in real life and say those things?
