We do need to replace ALL gasoline cars with EVs. Right now in the US, EVs are about 2% of all sales. Other nations are way ahead of us, like Norway where it is over 50% of sales.
Many countries have laws which phase out new gasoline cars by around 2030. We need to do the same.
You actually agree, in my opinion, with small share. I read the comment as most cars have small market penetration whether they are gasoline or electric. Obvi posted, "EVs have a relatively small share of the car market (is this disputable?)," and somehow ignored that most cars have a relatively small share of the car market.

No, Fat dude is not agreeing with you. He wants ALL cars/trucks to be electric. Not luxury cars, specialty cars/trucks . . . ALL cars and trucks. So the right metric is market share of EVs to ALL cars and trucks.
